This is actually an infinity question.
You probably should ask what kind of RC Helicopter do you want first. Big, Small, Indoor or outdoors?
If you are a beginner you probably looking something that's hard to break.
The good news is that Radio Control Helicopters are available everywhere from Amazon to eBay and cost goes to every budget, from $12 to $100s.
That just makes a question of what do you want to buy.?

First off, sorry for your loss. Last time I read, he was still around. If you never flew an RC helicopter before, it will be difficult to find a medium sized helicopter. It is better to start with the small sized ones first. Usually the Huey helicopters that are medium sized are "Do it Yourself" meaning you have to build it yourself.
