Can I take a cooling fan from an old computer, attached RC helicopter rotors to it,and give it enough downward thrust for vertical lift? Thanks.

Answer
Its possible but difficult and even if you do get lift, its going to be difficult to control as you may not have the proper items to keep the helicopter from hovering properly
Try this instead - its already being done:

or even this:

I live in san marcos CA so remember to mention a link that is available in my city.

Answer
The hardest part is finding something small enough to work with your helicopter. Most of the miniature spy cameras run on a 9 volt battery.

Is your helicopter strong enough to lift a 9 volt batter? How about two of them? You could try taping two batteries together (do NOT connect their terminals). If you can fly that around, you can probably find a good spy camera to use.

If you can't lift the batteries, then the costs for a wireless mini camera is going to go WAY up. Getting super tiny cameras is quite expensive.
