how do i fix my mini hughes 300 fairy rc helicopter?

Jeffery

my helicopter wont work. when i turn it and and press the forward stick the blades spin for half a second then stop, can somone tell me whats wrong and how to fix it?

Answer
Hello. Sorry, but you bought a cheap rip off helicopter from the actual PicooZ or Air Hogs Havoc. The Mini Hughes 300 is poorly made. You may have a receiver chip error or some sort. It can not be fixed unless you know your stuff. So... I would suggest returning it.

My Volitation Mini RC Helicopter won't lift off the ground?

Isaac

My top rotor blade and my equalising lever aren't spinning, therefore it won't lift off the ground. I only got this today so I'm not happy that its already broken.

Answer
First question, is it fully charged?
Secondly if it is fully charged make sure the batteries in the back of the remote work
Thirdly try pushing the throttle up and down slowly, if that doesnt work make sure the antenna is pointed at the Helicopter.
Fourthly sometimes the batteries in the helicopter dont charge propely the first time, so charge them over night and try again.

My new Syma S.026 mini Chinook RC helicopter spins out of control on takeoff. please help?

CGI03

They won't take it back they claim that i broke it. I did crash a few times but not from height or to fast because i cant fly it so i cant really crash it

Answer
Where did you buy it? If you bought it online, then you can't really do much but have it as a paper weight. If you bought it at a store, then you could pull what they pulled on you and purchase another helicopter and put the broken one back in the new box and say your child doesn't want it.

As for chinooks, the mechanism used for it to fly is very advanced. There is no guarantee these are going to be 100% perfect for every helicopter especially if it isn't an expensive hobby helicopter. The company "Syma" is not a company that you would want to depend on. Read the manual and follow the directions. That is all I could say.

why wont my mini rc helicopter fly outside?

Neil J

no its not the wind. im talking about the copter doesnt react to the remote like it does inside. outside theres more of a delayed reaction. tell me why is that?

Answer
It is because your helicopter most likely uses infrared technology.
So when flying outside...
It does work, but the signal is just shortened. The range of an IR signal is usually limited to around 30 feet or less. Infrared, also called optical control or opti-control, requires line-of-sight, that is, the LED on the IR transmitter must be pointing at the IR receiver in order to work. It doesn't see through walls. Depending on the strength of the IR signal and interference from sunlight or other infrared-transmitting devices, the range may be shortened. These limitations make IR unsuitable for RC vehicles intended for long-range flight, outdoor racing, and other activities where it may be difficult to stay in range and within line-of-sight.
So... now you know... Let me explain what you might see when you go outside and try. When you go out, you will try to fly your helicopter. It will work, but after a while, itll start flying by itself, and youll lose contorl. It will work, its just that your range is incredibly shortened.

Now, if your helicopter had an antenna on it, and it isnt using infrared technology, then it is most likely due to interference. but I doubt it.
Does your remote look like this:

something like that with a red thing on top? If yes, I answered your question properly.
