Rc Glider electronics?

Ben

I want to build a balsa rc glider from a kit. I want a wingspan of 4-5 feet and only 2 channel (rudder/elevator) Whats a good rc glider that fits the specifications and is below $65? What is a good radio/receiver/battery/servo system too? Thanks for any advice!

Answer
try ebay you can get very very very cheap servos:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-SG90-9g-Mini-Servo-RC-helicopter-TREX-450-JR-FUTABA-/120796973739?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D5%26pmod%3D220874766777%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D3657110949047622227&autorefresh=true

The link above is for AMAZING servos! I would pay up to 15 dollars, these are 100% top quaility Servos!

i need a good rc helicopter?

Tyler C

please someone tell me a good battery powered rc helicopter ( preferably a 3d helicopter )

Answer
I have just recently ventured into the RC Helicopter world. For my first heli I decided on an ESky Lama V4 which is what they call a coaxial heli. It has two sets of main blades stacked on top of each other turning in opposite directions & no tail rotor. It offers up & down(of course), sway left & sway right, forward & backwards, and spin left & spin right. After researching them a bit I found that the coaxial heli is perfect for beginners and novice pilots due to the controls being very easy to learn and master. This unit came with a flight simulator that allows you to fly right on your computer using the actual remote for the heli. It also came with a training kit to help aid in first time flights and landings. All this cost me about $85.00. It is a nice sized heli for still being considered a mini. It measures about 16" long and about 7" tall.
There is a another helicopter made by EFlite called the Blade CX and CX2. These are very close in comparison to the Lama but with a little higher price at about $120.00. Both are very nice helis and look great! Also both of these helis are easily upgraded to allow for individual tinkering and likes if your brother decides he really likes the RC helicopter as a hobby. Oh, I forgot to mention........ both of these are electric helis and can be flown indoors as well as outdoors. Hope this helps!

why does my SYMA S018 3Ch RC Airwolf Mini Helicopter keep spinning out of control?

Jullius

IT KEEPS SPINNING OUT I TRY TO TURN IT BUT IT SPINS LEFT!!!!!!! ALL OF THE THINGS WORK THE TAIL ROTOR WORKS AND THE MAIN TWO ROTORS WORK FINE AND THE BALANCER IS STRAIGHT. PLEASE HELP

Answer
copters fly because the top rotor spins ( a big spinning wing)

the drag on that reacts back through the power system and tries to turn the whole ship in the opposite direction

the tail rotor provides a smaller force at a longer distance to provide the counter torque

something is wrong in the tail rotor power or thrust

i need to know a good rc helicopter to buy?

My Volitation Mini RC Helicopter won't lift off the ground?

Isaac

My top rotor blade and my equalising lever aren't spinning, therefore it won't lift off the ground. I only got this today so I'm not happy that its already broken.

Answer
First question, is it fully charged?
Secondly if it is fully charged make sure the batteries in the back of the remote work
Thirdly try pushing the throttle up and down slowly, if that doesnt work make sure the antenna is pointed at the Helicopter.
Fourthly sometimes the batteries in the helicopter dont charge propely the first time, so charge them over night and try again.

What do you look for in a RC helicopter that is able to go left and right, back and forth.?

Thang D

My cheap one only flys up and down depending how much power you supply it. I am think it has to do with the # of channel. Can you recommend somthing that is cheap. Thanks

hi every one i have a mini Dynamic Falcon Mini RC Infrared Helicopter and the stabilizer on top of the proppelers broke. type "Dynamic Falcon Mini RC Infrared Helicopter" in google images to see what i'm talking about. pleas help me by telling me how to fix it or where i can find spare parts for it. the thing connecting the stablizer to the rotor shaft broke. will crazy glue work. thanks

Answer
definetly use crazy glue, hot glue wont work as crazy glue, why? for hot glue you need a large amont and it wont be glue like crazy glue does, that will cause the helicopter vibrate a lot, use crazy glue, you use less glue and get a powerful union.
